01.My Work

Case Studies

The idea for CrowdLink was inspired by my personal experience. I attended a WWE event with my husband, only to find out later that my brother was there too—a missed connection that could have been avoided with better technology. This real-life scenario led me to explore how people struggle to stay connected at live events.

Mini Therapy Horses offers therapeutic experiences using miniature horses, bringing joy and healing to those in need. Our team, From Hoof to Heart, embarked on a UI redesign project to enhance the website’s user experience by addressing navigation, content organization, and overall usability.

ASL U is a user-centered remote learning platform designed to address the unique challenges faced by American Sign Language (ASL) students and instructors. Our mission was to create an intuitive, engaging, and accessible solution that fosters community, personalized learning, and real-time feedback.

02.Who I am

About Me

My Mission

My journey began in 2002 as a freelance designer, leading to the establishment of my graphic design business, Ladybug Graphics, in 2012. The name "Ladybug" is inspired by my mother’s affectionate nickname for me and symbolizes the good fortune I’ve experienced in my career. It reminds me to approach every project with positivity and creativity.

Through Ladybug Graphics, I’ve crafted websites, logos, and brand identities for a diverse range of clients, collaborating with businesses across various industries to bring their visions to life. My creative ventures include logo design, web design, VFX, and 2D animation, but my true passion lies in UX and UI design.

This passion for inclusive design deepened after I experienced hearing loss and received bilateral cochlear implants in 2016, which ignited my commitment to accessibility.

My Life

Creating user-centered, accessible experiences has become my mission. Completing the Google UX Design Professional Certificate strengthened this focus, and I’m currently expanding my expertise in the University of Denver’s UX Design Bootcamp.

When I’m not designing, you can find me reveling in all things Harry Potter, often with my trusty Elder Wand perched on my desk. I cherish spending time with my fur babies—Weasley, Severus, and Ollivander—who bring a bit of magic to my daily life. I also love visiting Universal Studios amd sipping butterbeer with my partner in crime. You can always find us cheering on local pro sports teams, including the Broncos, Rockies, Avalanche, and Nuggets. As a proud mother of six, I balance creativity with family life and look forward to blending my experience and passion to make the digital world more accessible for everyone.
